Department and College Honors Programs
Some academic departments offer honors programs based on work in the major. Departments in the College of Business offer a college-wide program for students pursuing the Bachelor of Business Administration, and departments in the College of Arts and Sciences offer discipline-based honors programs. Generally speaking, students must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average to pursue and receive department or college Honors. Students who complete the departmental or college honors requirements earn the "Honors in ___" designation on their transcripts. Consult the specific department or college for detailed requirements.
